In 1994, courtesy of the unrelenting work horse that was the WPF marketing division, to promote McDonald’s restaurant & Universal Studios Hollywood; a tie in with the WPF was released.
Official WPF milkcaps were given away with qualifying purchases at McDonald’s. Each pack contained two WPF POGs and a 1/2 price children’s admission coupon to Universal Studios in Hollywood. The set featured 24 designs; primarily featuring popular attractions at the theme park, including the now defunct Jaws ride. A set of 8 coloured, anodised metal slammers were also released.
